Stormhaven, on the Bruce Peninsula, Georgian Bay, Ontario.

In keeping with my quest to explore and photograph the Bruce Peninsula, I stayed a few nights at Stormhaven in 2017. It is a back country campsite on the Bruce Trail, very close to Cyprus Lake and The Grotto, hence it’s a bit easier to get to and less remote in its feel. But the people you meet are always great to talk to, and they’re not just spending their life shopping. The springtime has the sun as far north as it gets, giving the cliffs and rocks the best lighting- before too long the cliffs are always in shadow. And I love experimenting with time exposures, I feel it gives an image a timeless feel to it that transcends the literal. More coming…..
