Georgian Bay from The Cliffs of the Bruce Peninsula

I managed to get to the Bruce Peninsula more in 2016 than in past years, and I never get tired of the space, the clear water, and its exotic and unique qualities. Within a few hours are 4 million people, and I’m glad not too many of them are there. Later in the year the sun never ventures too far north, so it’s always behind the cliffs, casting interesting shadows onto the water. This mid-October trip with friends was enjoyed with almost late-summer type weather. The major drawback was that we got out too late to get the fish and chips in Tobermory before closing time. There’s always 2017, and this year we have free national park passes….. stay tuned.
