Buildings are a part of our landscape. We probably don’t think much of them, other than where they are and where to park, but someone spent a lot of time thinking about what they look like, the impression they make on us, and how they function. A photograph of a building can make as strong an impression as the building itself, and sometimes a more powerful impression, when we take the time to pay attention. It can help us stop and see what is really there.
