A Hospital “Clean Room”

Labworks International builds climate-controlled rooms and facilities designed for very specific purposes- research, health care, and the like.  This is a “clean room” on a newly-renovated floor at St Mike’s Hospital in downtown Toronto.  It maintains a programmable temperature and humidity, filters the air of most everything that you can spell- and things you can’t- maintains a positive pressure and is sealed by two sets of doors, so that nothing creeps in by accident, not even a photographer.  Due to some red tape, it took us over an hour for the hospital to allow us to take these photos. The security guard was great- we had a very enjoyable chat, and that element made the wait enjoyable.
