This couple are University of Guelph graduates, and are still very much involved with the institution.  They brought a great attitude and enthusiasm, and were fun to work with, and that makes all the difference in how a photo shoot is experienced from both sides of the camera. And in my experience, that just has to trickle down to the effectiveness and impact of a final image.  And red outfits always add something to the attention-getting qualities of an image.  

Mary Jean is the current Liberal candidate for Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes, and former Chief of Staff for the Federal Minister of Agriculture.  Despite her success, her feet are firmly on the ground- perhaps it’s her agricultural background.  Her kids have their heads on straight, and this is the type of person I want to see in politics    

A photo studio is a great place to use light in a more controlled fashion, without the constraints of what you need to consider when on  location. These people needed portrait for job application, and in Europe and Asia, applying for a job of a significant sort requires you to include a photograph of yourself, and not just a selfie, either.  I had no idea that was the case.  Here in North America, some people might see that as an opportunity for unfairness in the hiring process, but in Europe, it adds significance to the process.  And they may have […]
