Even Oscar the dog was a pleasure to work with. They all sat on a big tree stump which had been cut down just weeks before in the park near their home. And within a matter of days of this photo the city came and took it away. I guess a fallen tree stump is not “safe”, and no lawyer worth their law degree could possibly sign off on the safety of a naturally-occurring object. But it was great place to pose a family or a group, with lots of different surfaces to sit or lean on. Clearly the city doesn’t consult with photographers before they make such decisions.
