Bleachers have evolved. This is a hi-tech installation with sensors, motors and automation that allow them to fold up against a wall and take up virtually no space. Photographing this type of subject matter is challenging- the photos can easily be rather boring. They are just seats, after all. But I do like the challenge. And the colour combination does work some magic. A college photography instructor always liked red and black together in a commercial photo shoot, and when one would incorporate them into a photo assignment it seemed to translate into a slightly better grade.
