Semex, an agricultural company operating world-wide, moved to a new location, and needed imagery to use in their corporate branding and marketing efforts going forward. Their new sign that stood at the road had been thoughtfully designed and placed in relation to the tree-lined laneway that leads to their building. I saw this as bit of a personal project as well as a job- part architectural, part landscape photography- two genres of photography I gravitate to. A few early morning visits to see what could be done with this eventually led to a foggy late-summer morning where my ideas gelled into a number of images, this being my favourite. I am grateful for their patience. These types of projects do not necessarily follow our timelines, but the imagery can give a company tools with which to present itself to the public for years to come.
